About
My name is Christian Tovgaard Aebeloe. Welcome to my website. I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science, Aalborg University. I obtained my Ph.D. degree in October 2022.

Assistant Professor.
I am currently employed as an Assistant Professor at Aalborg University in the Data, Knowledge, and Web Engineering (DKW) research group. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science, which I obtained from Aalborg University in 2022.

I specialize in the Semantic Web and Linked Data. More specifically, my Ph.D. dissertation works towards ensuring the continued and full availability of the Semantic Web by introducing decentralization to the current architecture. This is an important step, since a fully available Semantic Web is essential to numerous activities in Computer Science, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).
My supervisor was Katja Hose and co-supervisor Gabriela Montoya. Before starting on my Ph.D., I took my Bachelor degree, B.Sc. in Engineering, Software, at Aalborg University with Tung Kieu Vu Thanh as supervisor. I took my Master degree, M.Sc. in Engineering, Software, at Aalborg University with Katja and Gabriela as my supervisors.
Research Interests
My main research interests lie in the area of the Semantic Web. Specifically I have previously worked with explaining RDF property paths and efficient querying of knowledge graphs. However, mainly I work with decentralization of the Semantic Web. Moreover, I have a general interest in distributed database systems, Peer-To-Peer (P2P) systems, and query processing over decentralized RDF clients.
